Currently December

December 7, 2013

It has been quite a while since I
linked up with Farley’s Currently, but I love Christmas, and we happened to
have gotten a snow day yesterday. So I decided I would make time
Listening :  I have to admit. I think most hallmark movies are incredibly
cheesy. But every Christmas I just can’t help myself. I find myself watching
every Christmas Cheesy Movie ever made. And I Love. Every. Minute. Of. It. =)
Loving:  Who doesn’t love Christmas? The spirit, the excitement, the
love, the tradition, the great gift God gave us, the spirit in the eyes of
Children! Ahh! I love,
Love, Love, it all!
Thinking: I must, I must, I must bust
my butt…. To be productive hopefully….As I sit on the couch watching a Hallmark
Movie. Bahahaha!
Wanting: A massage…. Nuf said.
Needing : I am a flip flop girl at
heart. I love them and when school comes back in session, I run and grab my
Clarks and wear them without socks. Easy slip on, easy slip off, and comfy to
boot. I find my self stealing the boyfriends socks when the weather gets cold.
I don’t have a problem with this, but I am pretty sure he does. 😉
Favorite Christmas Tradition : After
graduating High school and seeing all of my friends start to drift apart, I
wanted to do something to get them to all come together. 3 years ago I decided
to have a Christmas Cookie Party. I invited a few friends, we each made our
favorite Christmas Cookie recipe and then swapped cookies with each other. So
when we each went our separate ways, we have several kinds of cookies that we
didn’t have to bake and got to talk and catch up. It has become a tradition and
on Dec. 21st we will have our 3rd annual cookie party.
My other favorite tradition is driving
through neighborhoods to look at all of the Christmas lighting. I love it. It
is SO beautiful!
I hope you are enjoying the Christmas Season as well! =)

“As educators, we remember and honor our
fallen colleagues and their students from Sandy Hook School.  We honor them each day in our
classrooms in which we continue their dream of teaching our children.  We honor their memory with our
service.  Join with teachers
everywhere in committing random acts of kindness to show our love for Sandy
Hook.”
