for what materials you have to give away, or post for what you need for your
classroom. It’s kind of like virtual dumpster diving, without the stinky
dumpster part.

3. DonorsChoose– With school funding
cuts and pay freezes, teachers are being asked to do more with much less.
DonorsChoose understands this and has found a way to help. Need some resources?
Put up a project on Donors Choose and watch how quickly it is funded. I personally got a butterfly garden, and a projector funded. One of my new teachers just got 2 ipad minis funded!

4. Book-It! Yes, the book-it! Program is
still around. I don’t know about you, but that coupon you get for a mini pizza
was the sole reason I learned to read and met my read goal every month. Food
can motivate. Especially pizza. Ha! If you don’t know about it, you need to check

5. AppyMall – Want to know which apps
are worth your money? Get reviews from parents and educators who have actually
used the apps. Want to know which free apps are amazing and worth a download?
They have lists upon lists. Want to know what the best apps are for English,
math, special education, art, etc. They know it. It’s a gold mine! Or rather an
App Mind!

a break? Need to get them moving? Go Noodle is the place to go! Your class gets
to pick a monster and the more brain breaks they take the stronger their
